SHARON WILSON'S HUSBAND, BOB, seemed contrite as he looked up at her from his hospital bed.
Ms. Wilson was in shock. "In those first moments, I really wasn't sure what to think," she remembers. "All I could do was pray."
Wilson wasn't trying to cope with a troubling medical diagnosis. She was responding to the news she'd been given just moments before: that her husband was under investigation for an alleged inappropriate relationship with a young boy. The relationship had come to light during a required psychiatric interview after a drug overdose landed her husband in the hospital.
