You can find the word soul in over 400 different passages of the Bible. But those are not the only references to the concept of soul when you consider Soul as a synonym for God.
For example, substitute the word Soul in this passage: "Thou art worthy, O Lord [O Soul], to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created" (Rev. 4:11). Swapping in the synonym Soul for Bible references to God helps me understand and feel that my relationship to God is like the relationship of starlight to a star—continuous, radiant, whole, eternal.
Try the same with this passage: "Hath not one God [Soul] created us?" (Mal. 2:10). Yes! Which means that everyone has the same bountiful, inclusive Source. So no one gets cheated out of his or her inheritance of good. No one can be a lost soul, a lucky or unlucky soul, or a poor soul. One infinite Soul creates light (beautiful qualities) in everyone—and radiates these qualities in special ways that make each of us unique, fully equipped, and healthy. (We just have to get in touch with this light in our consciousness, and then expect every aspect of our lives to respond accordingly.)
