Welcoming the World—Christian Science Reading Room at the San Francisco Airport

From the November 2009 issue of The Christian Science Journal

IN THE HEART OF TERMINAL ONE at the San Francisco International Airport, the floor-to-ceiling glass windows of the Jointly Maintained Christian Science Reading Room reach out to the world with a warm welcome. People from every corner of the globe have visited the Reading Room—some just to pass the time, others out of curiosity, and many as seekers of a better understanding of God's abiding love and presence in their lives. The comments from worldwide visitors are a constant reminder to us that our prayers for the Reading Room can bless the public in way we might never expect:

• "I feel like God put this Reading Room in this airport just for me" (a visitor from Scotland).

• "Everything you've shared with me today is completely logical, like things I have always known. I feel like I've come home" (a visitor from China).
