1. As a lifelong student of the Bible, Edmonde St. John tells the Journal, "I'm constantly delving into the Scriptures for fresh insights." A former teacher and a research librarian for The Christian Science Monitor, Eddie, as her friends call her, has taken many Bible courses since her college days and has authored numerous articles for the Christian Science magazines. 2. Ron Ballard entered the healing practice of Christian Science shortly after college and became a Christian Science teacher ten years later. Also a Christian Science lecturer, Ron travels throughout the United States addressing public audiences about spirituality and health. On the Friday nights that he isn't on the road, he can usually be found back home in Ashland, Oregon, competing in an equestrian sport he's come to love, known as team penning. 3. Honor Hill has spent most of her adult life serving her church in one capacity or another—including traveling the US, Canada, and the UK as a lecturer, serving as president of The Mother Church, president of the Mary Baker Eddy Library, and trustee of the Christian Science Publishing Society.
