Last fall, Christian Scientists in my area of the United States had the privilege of taking part in “Conversations on Christian Science nursing” meetings sponsored by a local branch Church of Christ, Scientist, and conducted by representatives from The Mother Church. These meetings, held all over the world, showed the importance of Christian Science nursing to the healing mission of Christian Science.
I came away from these meetings of love and holy purpose with such a full heart. As I thought of these conversations going on all over the globe last church year—June 2014–June 2015— I saw them as a great healing force. This inspiration has stayed with me in a vivid, spiritual sense-expanding way.
The tender, loving care given by a Christian Science nurse brings tangible evidence of divine Love and its ministering ever-presence.
