As a child I went to Sunday School, so the teachings of Christian Science were always very familiar to me. As a young adult I considered myself a Christian Scientist, even if I wasn’t very active in practicing it.
A deep willingness to grow spiritually came after my mother passed on. This kindled in me the yearning to study divine Science seriously, because I wanted to understand how I could still stay connected to true maternal love, which I’d learned comes from our Father-Mother God.
While following this desire to grow spiritually, I went through some difficult times. After a year, I decided to take Christian Science Primary class instruction, a two-week course where I could deepen my understanding and practice of Christian Science. I felt inspired by divine Love to take this class.
