Poems

God created me

From the May 2023 issue of The Christian Science Journal

My Father-Mother speaks:
“You are Mine.”
Perfectly conceived in Mind,
Meticulously drawn by the hand of Love,
Inscribed on the Spirit-paper of purity,
And embossed by Soul.
I am even now as God sees me,
No less and no more,
Perfectly pure.
Within the All-in-all:
Necessarily “very good.”

God sheds infinite light on infinite ideas,
Including you and me,
Holds us gently as the kiss of dawn
And whispers across eternity:
“Know and feel My lovingkindness,
For I am Love,
And Father-Mother Love has created you,
Father-Mother Love leads you,
We are one.
You are born of My light;
You shine as bright as My eternal day.”

I am so blessed!
The unfettered glory of God
Illumines my life, illumines all.
I shine with God’s love,
Always beautiful as Love’s image and likeness.
I hear God speaking:
“I AM THAT I AM,”
Forever.
