A dear friend introduced Christian Science to me over forty years ago. I knew immediately that this was the truth. I was so hungry for it, as I had been seeking this understanding of God and His Christ for many years.
I began to visit the Christian Science
Reading Room and read through all of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. Later I became a member of a branch Church of Christ, Scientist, and The Mother Church. Over the decades, I have experienced many physical, moral, financial, and relationship healings through Science, including navigating through an unfortunate first marriage and divorce about ten years ago.
About three years ago, I had a heart attack. My new husband, who is not a Christian Scientist, asked me to go to a medical doctor, which I did. The doctor immediately sent me to a hospital, whose physicians scheduled open heart surgery for the next morning. I felt swept away by the sense of urgency that the medical professionals and my spouse exhibited.
