Are you an Ananias or a Barnabas?

In the Bible book The Acts of the Apostles, chapter 9, Saul is on his way to Damascus to arrest and take back to Jerusalem anyone professing what we now call Christianity. Saul was a dreaded figure to the followers of Jesus. The Christians in Damascus were aware of his hateful mission and knew he was coming. But as he neared Damascus, he was blinded by the light of Christ. Literally. His traveling companions led him the rest of the way to Damascus.

Meanwhile, a Christian living in Damascus, Ananias, had a vision from God. In it, he was told to “Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and inquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth” (verse 11).
