Dear Friend,
After a rainstorm, it’s wonderful to see the sun peeking through the clouds. That, to me, is a metaphor for how it feels to experience God. In one word—joy!
Recently, it seemed as though joy waxed and waned in my life depending on my circumstances. But as I prayed, it became clear that the more I felt God’s presence and power, the more I understood God as the source of joy and the more natural it felt to experience consistent joy.
