Welcome - October 2026

From the October 2026 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Dear Friend,

“Felt ye the power of the Word?” It’s a compelling question from a well-loved poem by Mary Baker Eddy (Poems, p. 75). In the midst of tremendous noise and upheaval, the “power of the Word” gives us a staff to lean on and is a trusted lighthouse to guide us.

What can often seem like a fog of minds—that have opposing opinions, or are anxious and fearful, angry and hateful, self-indulgent and distracted, or headstrong and resistant to true divine inspiration—can be cut through by the high-beam light of “the power of the Word” shining in the Bible and Mary Baker Eddy’s writings.
