The time has come to notify all Christian Scientists and friends of The Mother Church of an opportunity to share directly in the new Church Center development project. Many forward steps have been taken since the project was first announced July 1, 1965, in The Christian Science Monitor.

Sunday School and Reading Room Workshop Meetings Members of The Mother Church and its branches are invited to attend the workshop meetings held by the Sunday School and Reading Room Divisions of the Department of Branches and Practitioners of The Mother Church. The meetings convene every Friday afternoon (except holidays and then on the preceding Thursday) at one o'clock and two thirty o'clock respectively in the vestry of the original edifice of The Mother Church.

Applications for Lectures in July and August Churches, societies, and college organizations in the United States and Canada wishing to give lectures during July and August, 1966, will please inform The Christian Science Board of Lectureship, 107 Falmouth Street, Boston, Massachusetts 02115, before May 1 . Names of lecturers who will be available during this period will be mailed to the Field about June 14.

The Annual Meeting of The Mother Church Will Convene at 2 p. m.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT With the approval of The Christian Science Board of Directors, the Board of Trustees of The Christian Science Publishing Society is pleased to announce that The Christian Science Journal and Christian Science Sentinel will appear with entirely new covers and typographical format beginning with the April, 1966, issue of the Journal and the April 2, 1966, issue of the Sentinel. These changes reflect the continuing effort to follow the instruction of our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, that the periodicals be kept abreast of the times (see Manual of The Mother Church, Art.

CHRISTIAN SCIENCE PRACTITIONERS AND SOCIAL SECURITY Christian Science practitioners in the United States who have not previously elected coverage under the OASDI provisions of the Social Security Act are advised that the time limit for electing such coverage has been extended to April 15, 1966, by Public Law 89-97. The decision whether or not to elect such coverage continues to be one for individual determination.
