Our Leader's Counsel Regarding Church Membership In writing to a branch church regarding its dedication, Mary Baker Eddy lovingly counseled, "May God's little ones cluster around this rock-ribbed church like tender nestlings in the crannies of the rocks, and preen their thoughts for upward flight" (The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany, p. 186 ).
From the Directors Request to Branch Churches, Societies, and College Organizations For some years The Mother Church has collected historical material on the growth of our movement in the Field. Chief among this is material from branch churches, societies, and college organizations.
Sunday School and Reading Room Workshop Meetings Members of the Mother Church and its branches are invited to attend the workshop meetings held by the Sunday School and Reading Room Divisions of the Department of Branches and Practitioners of The Mother Church. The meetings convene every Friday afternoon (except holidays and then on the preceding Thursday) at one o'clock and two thirty o'clock respectively in the vestry of the original edifice of The Mother Church.

Commencing July 1, 1966, under the "Medicare" law which was enacted in 1965, individuals in the United States eligible to receive Social Security or Railroad Retirement payments will be automatically enrolled in a limited form of "hospital" insurance when they reach age 65. In addition, the law also contains a special provision which allows most other individuals age 65 and over to file an application with their Social Security District Office for entitlement to hospital insurance benefits.
Inspiration of Tuesday Evening Meeting Held in The Mother Church Available to Branches Members of The Mother Church and its branches throughout the world will have an opportunity to share in the inspiration of the memorable Centennial program presented Tuesday Evening in the Extension of The Mother Church on June 7, 1966. Through the use of tape recordings, branch churches have available to them the complete recorded proceedings of the meeting, entitled "Forward with Our Leader into the Second Century of Christian Science," to share with their own members and other members of The Mother Church.
