THE CHRISTIAN SCIENCE MONITOR CAREER TRAINING PROGRAM The Board of Trustees of The Christian Science Publishing Society announces establishment of The Christian Science Monitor Career Training Program. Members of The Mother Church who hold a bachelor's degree and are interested in a career on the Monitor are eligible.

FROM THE DIRECTORS Meetings in the Interest of Branch Church Activities [Revision of statement from The Christian Science Journal, February, 1965] In planning an occasional meeting in the interest of one or more of the activities of the church it has been found that the progress of Christian Science in the local field and the incentive of the members are increased if the members themselves have an active part in the program. At times a branch church may wish to invite an experienced Christian Scientist from a neighboring church to address its members.
THE year 1966 marks the centennial of Christian Science. Yet its discovery looms as fresh and challenging in human thought today as it did one hundred years ago.
From the Treasurer of The Mother Church The Manual of The Mother Church by Mary Baker Eddy makes the following provision for Per Capita Tax ( Art VIII, Sect 13 ): "Every member of The Mother Church shall pay annually a per capita tax of not less than one dollar, which shall be forwarded each year to the Church Treasurer. " Payments may be sent during the year at any time between January 1 and December 31.
SUNDAY SCHOOL AND READING ROOM WORKSHOP MEETINGS Members of The Mother Church and its branches are invited to attend the workshop meetings held by the Sunday School and Reading Room Divisions of the Department of Branches and Practitioners of The Mother Church. The meetings convene every Friday afternoon (except holidays and then on the preceding Thursday) at one o'clock and two thirty o'clock respectively in the vestry of the original edifice of The Mother Church.

VISITORS WELCOME Chestnut Hill, Mass . —The former residence of Mary Baker Eddy at 400 Beacon Street contains an exhibit room on the second floor where items tracing the growth of the movement from its earliest days to the present are displayed.
PERHAPS nothing is more important to the progress of the student of Christian Science than church membership. It opens up an entirely new field of activity, and when the student makes the most of the opportunities afforded, great spiritual growth follows.
