Church Center Building Fund

From the May 1966 issue of The Christian Science Journal

The time has come to notify all Christian Scientists and friends of The Mother Church of an opportunity to share directly in the new Church Center development project.

Many forward steps have been taken since the project was first announced July 1, 1965, in The Christian Science Monitor. Initial approvals have been obtained from the City of Boston. Full architectural plans for the new Administration Building and other related facilities are well under way. Land clearance will begin on Annual Meeting day, June 6. Actual construction is scheduled to commence in June, 1967, with the entire Church Center to be completed by the end of 1969.

We are, therefore, pleased to announce the opening of a "Church Center Building Fund."

Contributions are now invited and may be sent to Roy Garrett Watson, Treasurer, 107 Falmouth Street, Room 212, Boston, Massachusetts 02115.

As the project continues to move forward, there will be reports in the periodicals to keep you fully informed of the details and progress of this vital program.
