ANNOUNCEMENT During the past several years the Committee on Christian Science Wartime Activities of The Mother Church has been grateful for the generous supply of used clothing sent in by branches and individuals in the Field for Christian Scientists in countries where the effects of war have caused hardships. In many countries the most urgent need has now been met, and therefore it will not be necessary to continue the large-scale relief work conducted by The Mother Church through the offices of the Committee on Christian Science Wartime Activities.
From the Treasurer of The Mother Church Per Capita Tax, as provided in the Church Manual, Article VIII, Section 13, is due annually from "every member of The Mother Church," and "shall be forwarded each year to the Church Treasurer. " Payments may be sent during the year at any time between January 1 and December 31.
Churches and societies in the United States and Canada wishing to give lectures during the first two months of the next lecture year, namely, July and August, 1952, are requested to inform the Board of Lectureship before May 21. Applicants will be advised about June 10 of the lecturers who will be available during July and August.

NOTICE Lecture Information In accordance with the procedure which has been followed for some time, after several years of service in the lecture work, members of The Christian Science Board of Lectureship are eligible to retire for a period during which they will devote their time and attention particularly to the study and practice of Christian Science. FROM THE DIRECTORS From time to time there have appeared in our periodicals notices of acknowledgments to those who have presented letters written by our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, and her secretaries, as well as other papers bearing her signature. The result of these notices is evidenced by the fact that thousands of documents have been received for permanent preservation in the Archives of The Mother Church.
