MEMBERSHIP NOTICE Applications for membership in The Mother Church are acted upon by The Christian Science Board of Directors, twice each year, as provided for by the Manual of The Mother Church, Article XIII, Section 2. The next date for the admission of applicants in The Mother Church is May 31, 1946.

From the Treasurer of The Mother Church Per Capita Tax , as provided in the Church Manual, Article VIII, Section 13 , is due annually from "every member of The Mother Church," and "shall be forwarded each year to the Church Treasurer. " Statements are mailed annually to all members.

This translation continues to hold first place among English-reading students by reason of its diction, its fidelity to the original text, and its spirituality.

Convincing testimonies of Christian Science healing are welcome. Each testimony should be verified by three members of The Mother Church who know of the healing or can vouch for the integrity of the testifier.

The Trustees under the Will of Mary Baker Eddy announce publication of a new card entitled "The Significance of Christmas," bearing a portion of the article of that name, which begins on page 259 of "The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany" by Mrs. Eddy.

FROM THE DIRECTORS The Mother Church Wartime Fund With the coming of peace, the activities which have been supported by the Christian Science Wartime Fund are naturally lessening. Expenditures from this Fund are at present about two thirds as great as a year ago.
