FROM THE TREASURER OF THE MOTHER CHURCH Per Capita Tax , as provided in the Church Manual, Article VIII, Section 13, is due annually from "every member of The Mother Church," and "shall be forwarded each year to the Church Treasurer. " Statements are mailed annually to all members.

NOTES FROM THE PUBLISHING SOCIETY Talking Book A recording of articles from the Christian Science periodicals for the benefit of individuals who cannot read the printed page is now available. This is a two-sided record designed for use on a Talking Book machine.
New Vest Pocket Pamphlet A new vest pocket pamphlet "Assurance" is now available. This pamphlet, which contains articles reprinted from The Christian Science Journal and Sentinel , is especially interesting to men and women in the armed services.

NEW PLAN FOR CHRISTIAN SCIENCE PROGRAMS ON RADIO As a progressive step in the radiocasting of Christian Science programs, beginning Saturday, November 4, 1944, weekly programs, prepared in The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, under the direction of The Christian Science Board of Directors, will be put on the air by approximately sixty-four radio stations throughout the United States. The musical selections will be by the soloist and the organist of The Mother Church, and the church organ will be used.
THE generous and steadily increasing contributions of branch churches, societies, and individual Christian Scientists are enabling The Mother Church to maintain and increase its wartime activities. These activities now extend to every part of the world where American or British Empire servicemen and servicewomen are engaged.
Cornish Fund to Assist in Church Building Branches of The Mother Church in the smaller communities, which are contemplating the erection of a church when the necessary means become available, may wish to begin soon to gather information in that connection. The requirements for becoming a beneficiary of the trust fund established under the will of Mrs.
MEMBERSHIP NOTICE Applications for membership in The Mother Church are acted upon by The Christian Science Board of Directors, twice each year, as provided for by the Manual of The Mother Church, Article XIII, Section 2. A letter of acknowledgment is sent to each applicant whose application is received by the Clerk, but this letter does not signify that he has been admitted to membership.
