A Student of Christian Science was a passenger on a transcontinental plane. He was resting, half asleep, when he was awakened by the voice of the pilot, announcing over the loud-speaker that if the passengers would look down to their left, they would see Memphis, Tennessee, on the banks of the Mississippi River.

Many of the ancient worthies glimpsed the fact that they could not carry out God's orders without His help. When God called Moses to bring forth the children of Israel from bondage to the Egyptians, Moses questioned his ability to fulfill God's requirements, but God assured him that He would be with him.

It is a holy thing to heal the sick and the sinning through prayer as Christ Jesus did. And there are men, women, and children in many parts of the world who are doing this through their understanding of Christian Science.

The mission of Christ Jesus, climaxed by his resurrection and his ascension above materiality, was the good news of the first century of the Christian era. It was told and retold by apostle and disciple.

Among the basic and far-reaching facts of Christian Science is this: that Spirit, God, always sustains Life and that matter never does. Mrs.

What greater privilege could there be than that of seeing God? This privilege is denied no one. Christ Jesus taught, "Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God" ( Matt.

Instinctively one prays when he is in difficulty. In so doing, is he not indicating some semblance of belief in a higher power which he intuitively feels is present to help? Is he not responding to his real, spiritual nature, to belief in reality, to faith in the existence of God? Some prayers are answered; some are not.

How encouraging it is to witness the change of thought in a friend or neighbor when he accepts his true relationship to God as His beloved son and reflection! When Mrs. Eddy received the revelation of Truth, she saw clearly that God's allness and ever-presence are made manifest through man, His image and likeness.
