A Challenge to any right endeavor usually has the effect of stimulating thought into action which results in victory. A helpful lesson in this connection may be learned from the action of a river when meeting a dam in its course.

" We , to-day, in this class-room, are enough to convert the world if we are of one Mind; for then the whole world will feel the influence of this Mind; as when the earth was without form, and Mind spake and form appeared," declared Mary Baker Eddy in addressing a Primary class in 1889 (Miscellaneous Writings, pp. 279, 280 ).
Students of Christian Science are grateful for the divine guidance and protection they enjoy through listening and obeying the still small voice of Truth, God. They have found that even in this age of great industrialization and material advancement, it is possible, even natural, to commune with God as simply and as directly as did the prophets of old.
At this period, great emphasis is being placed on the necessity of penetrating investigation of fundamental facts. This trend in human thinking is very encouraging to Christian Scientists, who are convinced that beyond and above all material investigation the one fundamental fact which will eventually and inevitably come to light is that God is All-in-all.
