Since the time of Christ Jesus' ministry, true Christians have had a keen desire for and an earnest expectation of the coming of the Comforter. Only the misconception of what it is and of how it is to appear has kept the Comforter from entering every individual consciousness with healing and regenerating power.

When we look up to the stars, do we not always see them in their expected places? What holds them there? What maintains the orderliness of the universe? It is government. The steadfastness of the stars illustrates the invariability of God, divine Principle, governing His spiritual universe.

Christian Science is the religion of the healing Christ. It is an absolute, accurate, demonstrable Science.

Discovery of truth is humanity's age old adventure. Christian Science gives this quest scientific directness.

Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go" ( Isa. 48:17 ).

When Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, organized The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, she designed it "to be built on the Rock, Christ; even the understanding and demonstration of divine Truth, Life, and Love, healing and saving the world from sin and death; thus to reflect in some degree the Church Universal and Triumphant," as we read on page 19 of the "Historical Sketch" from the Manual of The Mother Church by Mrs. Eddy.

Christ Jesus , in his glorious healing v ministry, realized and utilized the power of spiritual stimulus. He said ( John 5:30 ): "I can of mine own self do nothing"; and ( John 14:10 ),"The Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

Christian Science healing is a holy experience. It is evidence that God's power and presence have dawned upon receptive human consciousness through His eternal Christ.

How limitless is God's love and how manifold are His blessings! And yet how often we fail to demonstrate this truth in our human affairs. We fail because we are viewing creation through the lens of human belief, which presents man as sometimes good, sometimes bad, but always limited.

The wheel is generally considered to be the world's most important invention. An almost unbelievable amount of mechanical freedom has come through the employment of this simple device.
