Exploring in depth what Christian Science is and how it heals.

THE ANGELS OF HIS PRESENCE

What wonder and tenderness, what might and strength does the thought of angels arouse in the Christian Scientist! Always gently guarding and guiding, ever giving a sense of power, wisdom, and security, these angels are always close at hand to inspire and lead one on. When Moses was first called to lead the children of Israel out of their bondage to the Egyptians, ( Ex.

THE HEALING OF THE NATIONS

" The characters and lives of men determine the peace, prosperity, and life of nations. " Thus writes Mary Baker Eddy on page 277 of "The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany" in the chapter called "Peace and War.

GOD-GIVEN VISION

A Few years ago the writer took a trip in the southern part of the United States through the "deep South. " He crossed a bridge that engineers had for many years considered impossible to build at that particular location because of the great depth of the river, the swiftness of the current, and the depth of earth to penetrate in order to reach a stable foundation.

PROGRESS THAT SATISFIES

If we are not satisfied with the progress we are making, we should examine our thinking. Only as one awakens to God's demands and obeys them will he experience uninterrupted spiritual progress and find lasting happiness.

"CLEANSING UPHEAVAL"

Thousands of people who formerly were lost in a maze of conflicting doctrines and confusing religious theories can attest that they found their way out when they took up the study of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. Old questions remaining in thought concerning religion, God, and the universe began immediately to be answered.

"STRENGTHEN THY BRETHREN"

In Luke's account of the Master's last supper with his disciples there is recorded an incident of profound significance to the Christian Scientist. Since Christ Jesus knew that the time had come when he must face the greatest challenge of his career, the burden of that hour would seem to have been enough for him; yet he discerned Simon Peter's need and with Christly compassion addressed him in these words (22: 31, 32): "Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: but I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

"THE TEMPLE OF THE HOLY GHOST"

One student of Christian Science has proved more than once the practicality of Paul's words (I Cor. 6:19, 20): "Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

THE HEAVENLY HOSTS

In strong and graphic tribute the Old Testament writers frequently referred to God as "the Lord of hosts. " The phrase has indeed a colorful accuracy, conveying a sense of God's omnipotence and glory.

THE LIBERATING POWER OF INFALLIBLE LOVE

God is Love, the Bible informs us. The Scriptures also imply that God is divine Principle.

KNOW THAT YOU KNOW

A Story is told of a professor of a class in higher mathematics who asked that a complicated formula be worked out on the blackboard. The first student who came to the board began writing the solution to the problem, but after he had written the first step, the professor remarked to him: "No, that is wrong.
