Exploring in depth what Christian Science is and how it heals.

The ordering of our lives

Everything in God's universe is controlled by His law of harmony and order. The mortal senses testify to a world in public and private disarray, yet the divine order remains undisturbed, untouched, uninterrupted.

The most important healing

Opinions might vary considerably as to what is the most important healing. What would Christ Jesus, the world's most successful healer, have said? Leprosy, cancer, palsy, blindness, moral delinquency? No! The most important healing in Christian Science is so startlingly different that most people would never think of it as healing: nothing less than step-by-step escape from mortality, from the awful shadow of the belief that we are mere mortals.

True atomic action

One of the facts the "new physics" has shown mankind is that matter is not the continuous, solid stuff the physical senses say it is. In one of his classic lectures, Sir Arthur Eddington, the astronomer, once stated: "That environment of space and time and matter, of light and colour and concrete things, which seems so vividly real to us is probed deeply by every device of physical science and at the bottom we reach symbols.

No origin for evil

"The Lord said unto Satan, From whence comest thou? And Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. " Job 2:2; So the book of Job tells us in pictorial terms that evil begs the question—it has no place of origin or belonging.

Christian Science treatment: what it is and does

Christian Science treatment leads to the inspired realization that all is perfect Mind and its perfect, spiritual reflection. Evil in whatever form would deny God's allness.

Why not number the people?

According to Bible history, King David refused to heed God's command not to number the people. Instead, he allowed Satan to "provoke" him into counting the numerical strength of the Israelites, despite the warning of Joab, captain of David's army.
