Exploring in depth what Christian Science is and how it heals.

Gratitude for the divine economy

We are not actually helpless pawns in economic systems that are often in disarray, with supply and demand unstable and out of balance. Such systems do not depict reality.

Bring the child-in-your-heart to church

Having had the opportunity of traveling in many countries, I have attended Christian Science services in churches, societies, and groups on most of the continents. I was surprised to see that, generally speaking, the smaller groups seemed the ones that expressed a higher sense of church.

". . . states and stages"

Once we begin to see God as He really is—as Spirit, the All-in-all, the one creator—and man as the idea—the reflection—of God, at one with God, we read the Bible with an enlightened point of view. We read it expecting to learn more about the kingdom of God.

Can we actuate God's control?

For highway driving, my car has a useful attachment called cruise control. By activating this control I can cause the car to operate at a constant speed.

Impersonalizing error— a divine demand

I awoke one morning with the following statement of Mrs. Eddy's strongly before me: "To impersonalize scientifically the material sense of existence—rather than cling to personality—is the lesson of to-day.

Perfection is natural

During my school days I had a teacher who never gave anyone full marks. He maintained that to do so would imply that the pupil's work was perfect, whereas nothing is or ever can be perfect.

". . . man, including the universe . . ."

What inspiring words! They come from a statement by Mrs. Eddy in her book Unity of Good : "Spirit is the only creator, and man, including the universe, is His spiritual concept.
