Exploring in depth what Christian Science is and how it heals.

Our Conceptions Determine Our Experience

What makes me conscious of existing? What says, "I am aware of living" or, "I am here"? Many of us have asked ourselves these questions. Furthermore, we may have even asked, "Is there any real purpose in my being here?" In the face of the general belief that the life of man is merely a space of time between birth and death, that it is material and hence destructible, one might possibly see no purpose at all in living.

Jesus' Public Ministry Draws to a Close (Part I)

Christ Jesus' dramatic, triumphal entry into Jerusalem had brought him irrevocably out into the open as the Messiah of prophecy. His popularity among the common people seemed assured.

The first time I heard the words of a Lesson-Sermon I was a listening stranger. I had been brought up a devout Anglican, my father being a clergyman in the Church of England.

Healing Disappointment with Others

When somebody disappoints us, if we forgive superficially we may remain secretly wounded, feeling let down by one whose conduct matters to us deeply. Such acceptance of an impaired relationship can easily lead to overcaution in other relationships.
