In thinking about national elections, students of Christian Science may ask themselves what they can do spiritually to further the development of enlightened government and how they can reverse the tide of negative thinking that frequently surrounds what should be a rich human experience. Clearly, the role of citizen and voter needs to be reexamined in the light of a higher, more spiritual concept, which Christian Science presents.
