In Matthew (Chapter 24) we read that Christ Jesus warned mankind of the disturbance that would come as materialism is forced to give way before the appearing of the Christ, God's true idea. Some of the Master's prophecies are somber indeed.
" The Christian Science God is universal eternal, divine Love, which changeth not and causeth no evil, disease, nor death," writes Mary Baker Eddy in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" ( p. 140 ).
In his earthly career, Christ Jesus demonstrated the nature and qualities of the original man of God's creating. This man is described in the first chapter of Genesis as made in God's image and likeness, as good, and as having dominion over the lesser creations of God.
Perhaps nothing is more important to the progress of the student of Christian Science than church membership. It opens up an entirely new field of activity, and when the student makes the most of the opportunities afforded, great spiritual growth follows.
EACH individual is humanly identified in the eyes of others by his physical appearance. This identification, almost everyone will concede, is more than flesh, blood, and bones.
