ONLY ONE RETURNED TO GIVE THANKS

When Christ Jesus cured the ten lepers who had cried out to him for help, one of them turned back, we are told ( Luke 17:15 ), "and with a loud voice glorified God. " Whereupon the Master exclaimed: "Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.

WHETHER the world is ready to admit it or not, the twentieth century is witnessing to the gradual disappearance of matter. The material limitations that have held men relentlessly in subjection to conditions of space and time and lack of power are being broken down.

A SEASON OF RENEWAL

TO every student of Christian Science the season of the Annual Meeting may well be a period in which to measure prayerfully his love and gratitude for our great Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, who brought to mankind the pure Science of Christianity, the light of Christ, Truth, "which lighteth every man that cometh into the world" ( John 1:9 ). The Mother Church and its branches are engaged in a great crusade, an inspired and inspiring activity, the purpose of which is indicated by our Leader as follows (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p.
