
Testimonies of Healing
It gives me great pleasure to express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me. In January, 1911, I fell and injured my right arm.
[Translated from the German] On Friday, Dec. 15, 1911, I was suddenly seized with a pain which so increased in severity that my husband sent for a physician, who stated that it was a serious affection of the kidneys.
I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude for the blessings and spiritual uplifting which I have received through Christian Science. I was brought up in the teachings of another church, but at about the age of twenty I became dissatisfied with religion of any kind, and suddenly turned away from God altogether.

I feel that I have not been doing right in withholding a public acknowledgment of what Christian Science has done for me and mine, though I am unable to find the words to tell the half. It is over six years since I first heard of Christian Science.
Christian Science has brought me so many blessings and has made my life so different, that I cannot adequately express my gratitude. When I first heard of it I was suffering from a rheumatic trouble, and had been told that it was "in my system," so that I could hardly expect to get better; but Christian Science cured me of this ailment in a week, and I have never had any return of it.

It was my good fortune in wedlock to find an elevating and rarely harmonious companionship of forty-four years' duration. A large family came to us, and there were experiences of loss and grief, but seven children were reared under the most favorable conditions and well-equipped for useful citizenship.
