Dear Sister Crosse : For the benefit of a certain class of sufferers, I write to say that I have just destroyed a morphine habit, two years growth, in four days. I do not write to advertise for cases for myself, but to show what Christian Science will do.

I have healed one case of strabismus in three treatments. I did mental surgery in Freeport.

Dear Journal : I wish to add my testimony to the many others which find their way to your columns, of the great and wonderful work done for me by Christian Science. My dear child was first healed of serious beliefs, and so grateful was I, that I felt I must learn something of the way in which the work was done.

I Doubt not but that there is a great deal of nonsense and humbuggery practised by all schools of Physicians. I knew nothing of the merits of the new departure in curing diseases called Christian Science.

My wife had been for nine weeks suffering with typhoid fever, which terminated in cerebro-spinal meningitis. Three physicians, who were attending her most of the time, said they could do no more, that my wife must die.

This is to certify that I injured myself by falling. I was scarcely able to use my left arm, and could not recover from the shock.

My daughter, Mrs. Williams, was stricken with puerperal mania, and for weeks hovered between life and death.

Dear Sister : I must tell you the glorious news. On Monday Hiram seemed very ill, but at seven o'clock there came a change, and he began to improve.
