About sixteen years ago, I began experiencing a strange phenomenon. Often, and without even a second's warning it seemed, I would find myself keeling over as though being forced down by a relentless power.
One aspect of my work as a Christian Science nurse includes lifting. And not long ago I had the opportunity to prove, to a degree, how the law of God governs the ability to lift, and subsequently to understand an aspect of spiritual perfection.
This testimony is long overdue. Ever since I was three years old, I have had the privilege of Christian Science as my only physician.
Although I'm a senior citizen, I was surprised to find myself incontinent. I was too embarrassed to tell a Christian Science practitioner and ask for treatment, so this condition went on for a couple of years.
For five generations, my family has been blessed by the healing power of God through our understanding of Christian Science. A recent experience of our youngest child reinforced our confidence in the power of God to protect and heal.
