
Testimonies of Healing
At the beginning of the year before last, I was starting out afresh. I had recently graduated from college and returned to my home country.
We often take our mobility very much for granted. But, when it is taken from us, we realize how precious that reflection of omniaction is.
In my junior year , in a high school baseball game, I was hit directly in the mouth by a pitched ball. The damage to my mouth was considerable.
It was a busy night at the nightclub and restaurant where I was performing, so much so that the floor had been temporarily filled with tables. The crowd had thinned out by the third show, and the tables were cleared off.
My son had a wonderful healing when he was three years old that illustrates that the true Father-Mother Love is ever available and can handle every emergency. While playing on the monkey bars at his day-care center, my son fell, injuring his neck and shoulder.
After having experienced decades of healings and protection through prayer and God's never-ending love, it's time for me to express my gratitude to God, as well as for the teachings of Jesus Christ and the bountiful wisdom within the writings of Mary Baker Eddy. Through study of the Bible and Science and Health, my children and I have been healed of colds, influenza, measles, chickenpox, and tonsillitis, as well as other ailments.
I am deeply grateful to Christian Science. Because of what I have learned from it, my only purpose and ambition in life is to become more and more conscious of my status, and that of everyone, as God's perfect man.
When I was twelve years old, a dramatic healing of a plantar wart on my foot was the result of my beginning to rely on prayer for healing. I had hobbled around for about two weeks in discomfort with the wart.
