Gratitude fills my heart as I look back over many years of healing in Christian Science, filled with opportunities to glorify God—opportunities that often come brilliantly disguised as unsolved problems for my family and me.
My grandmother and my parents were dedicated Christian Scientists and always very active with church work. My father would always remind us that "when the church doors are open, we belong inside." I have truly been blessed by following that counsel.
Mary Baker Eddy states in Science and Health, "Only through radical reliance on Truth can scientific healing power be realized" (p. 167). This statement has given me the courage and the strength to always trust wholeheartedly in God in meeting every challenge, whether it be physical, financial, emotional, discordant human relationships, or any other inharmonious situation.
