This Month we're proud to reprint a full-length original feature from our somewhat younger sister publication, The Herald of Christian Science. As younger sisters know, there are advantages to being the recipient of an older sibling's largess. The Herald has gratefully reprinted countless articles from the Journal over the years. We hope to be publishing Herald contributions more often as part of a continuing, enriching, two-way exchange.
"A history of Christian Science in Russia," published last November in four foreign-language editions of the Herald, will appear as a three-part series in the Journal. It tells the remarkable story of people who risked their lives to spread the new-old discovery of spiritual freedom in a land where respect for religious rights was soon to disappear into a black hole for over half a century.
The courage and conviction of these pioneers are rousing examples for all of us on how to carry the cross of Christ, and the result that must follow—gaining the crown of Christian healing power.
