Testimonies of Healing
For a number of years I was a real estate broker and loan officer. On one particular transaction, the clients came to me for help in obtaining pre-approval on a loan.
How grateful I am for God's absolute law of goodness and for the fact that "the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword" ( Heb. 4:12 ).
As far back as I can remember as a child, I felt a closeness to God. If I felt ill, I refused medicine, although I had no knowledge of Christian Science.
Reading other people's testimonies has always been so inspiring to me, and now I would like to add my own. Being born into a loving family of Christian Scientists, I learned by heart many helpful passages from the Bible, Science and Health, and the Christian Science Hymnal that give assurances of God's care for us all.

How comforting it is to have a practical religion that is an integral part of daily life. I want to express my gratitude for Christian Science; for the understanding of God, and of man as His idea; and for the confidence, inspired by this religion, that all that is real is good, Godlike.
Several days before it was time for me to leave for my yearly Christian Science Students Association meeting, I woke up with severe stiffness on my left side and was not able to walk.
