Testimonies of Healing

I feel so blessed to have had the wonderful protection, health, and all the love and joy that come with being a Christian Scientist. I married a wonderful man who, although he was not a Christian Scientist, was willing for our three children to attend Christian Science Sunday School.

I have known Marie Wood for about twenty-five years and can vouch for her honesty in writing her testimony. I did witness, to a degree, her healing.

I have been healed of so many things by studying and practicing the teachings in that remarkable book, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by the Leader of the Christian Science movement, Mary Baker Eddy. Having been a student of the Science of Christ now for many years, always relying on God and His law for healing, I put the following experience on record, trusting it may help others.

I got up one night, and when returning to bed I turned my ankle over. I heard a sound, and it felt as though it had broken.

I was brought up in a loving home, attending a Christian Science Sunday School with my two sisters right up until I was twenty years old. I shall always be grateful to the teachers there, who helped us to appreciate and to love the Holy Bible, with its stories of the prophets and the teachings and healings of Jesus and the apostles.

A practitioner once said that Christian Science is a realist's proving ground. Hopefully in a small way I'm proving this today.

I jumped off the swing and I hurt my arm and lay down inside my school at the nurse's office. I went home.

Our family has had numerous healings through the realization of God's loving care, which is a kind of prayer. I have become increasingly aware of just how much overcoming fear helps to bring healing.

I am a new student of Christian Science. My best friend gave me a copy of Science and Health not long ago, and my journey through its pages has been intense, enlightening, and fruitful.

One day while our son was playing on a trampoline, he fell on his neck. My husband and I rushed to him, and both of us reached out to God for the healing thoughts that we needed.
