Testimonies of Healing

As a child I felt very secure in a home where Christian Science was studied and practiced daily. Physical inharmonies were quickly healed through the prayers of my parents or with the help of a Christian Science practitioner.

I began to study Christian Science as a young mother, and was greatly encouraged by the healings that resulted. We lived in a small town where there were no Christian Scientists.

When I was fourteen years of age, it was necessary for me to leave school. I applied for a position with a large firm which then had a policy of engaging staff youths and temporary employees.

When I was a youngster Christian Science healed me each time one of the so-called children's diseases occurred. These healings were quick and sometimes immediate.

Over twenty-five years ago I was healed of asthma through the application of Christian Science. With much gratitude I testify that I have continued to be completely free from that complaint.

My family background includes a long line of orthodox ministers, dating from 1700. My father, to whom I was very close, was also a minister.

For forty-two years I have experienced the healing power of Christian Science. My childhood was a happy one, and God was dearly loved and revered in our home.
