Testimonies of Healing

Although I was reared in an orthodox family and attended Hebrew school, I could not understand the teaching of Judaism. Therefore, I did not continue in its study.

After an accident last year, when I seemed unable to study, my thought turned toward the healings I had previously experienced in Christian Science. I was reminded of how, when Christ Jesus healed ten lepers, only one turned back to give glory to God, and I realized I am indeed richly blessed.

My mother told me about Christian Science shortly after I married. I had been ill for months before the birth of my first child.

Twenty-seven years ago a dear relative sent me Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. Until then I did not know anything about Christian Science.

For over thirty years, since I began the study of Christian Science, I have relied solely on God for healing. Mind, God, has been my only medicine.

When I was a small girl, a relative spoke to my parents of Christian Science. Although they did not accept Science, the talk made a deep impression on me.

Christian Science has been my only physician since the age of six years, and that of my family since marriage. I well remember in my boyhood when my mother, after three years confinement in a sanatorium, got rid of all medicines.

Some years ago, as I was traveling in another country, the car went out of control while moving at high speed. It rolled over a cliff and down into a hollow.

I wish to express my gratitude for the healing truths of Christian Science in  Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and in her other writings.

My daughter was nine years old when our family spent some vacation days in a tent by Lake Constance. Because of poor weather, we soon returned home.
