My joy and gratitude for a new nature prompt me to share this Christian Science healing. The study of Christian Science has been an integral part of my life since my early twenties.

At the age of sixty-two, after recuperating from surgery and suffering from angina, I was compelled to retire from my position as chief design engineer in a manufacturing plant. The following year my wife and I moved to California to live in retirement on a much more limited income than that to which we had been accustomed.

Two weeks after I arrived home from the joyous experience of class instruction, my family and I were to go to the Middle West and help my parents harvest their wheat crop. But a letter came telling us to change our vacation plans if we wished, as my parents were sure there would be no crops to harvest.

I became acquainted with Christian Science sixteen years ago. In spite of my efforts to avoid this illumined way, today I am on it, full of gratitude and tremendously happy to be able to testify to the deep change which this wonderful Science brought about for me.

Mrs. Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, has given us a strong weapon to use in overcoming the belief of sin, disease, and death—an understanding of the allness of Spirit, God, and the nothingness of matter.

The privilege of being raised in a Christian Science home is not always fully appreciated until the challenges of working at a job, establishing a home, and raising a family are experienced firsthand. I shall always be grateful for the years in the Christian Science Sunday School and the valuable lessons learned.

Christian Science means a great deal to me. It is responsible for all of the good and success that I have experienced.
