Testimonies of Healing

Two years ago I was suddenly stricken with severe physical disorders. The illness was never medically diagnosed.

Christian Science came into my life forty years ago. I thank divine Love from the depths of my heart for all blessings, and also for trials.

I first heard of Christian Science forty-five years ago. I was in an auto accident that had been witnessed by a Christian Scientist.

Even the most discouraging case can be healed in Christian Science. In 1946 I suffered damage to my spinal cord and was completely paralyzed.

[Original in Spanish] Once, while my four children and I were at the beach, a severe storm broke out. We immediately began to pray.

The Scripture "before they call, I will answer" ( Isa. 65:24 ) was most beautifully proved true to me four years ago while I was living on an island in the Bahamas.

When I awoke one morning, I found I had a small blemish on one cheek. Thinking I had probably scraped myself while shaving, I paid no attention to it.

[Original in French] After Christian Science was presented to us for the first time, I devoted myself to understanding the biblical account of creation in the first chapter of Genesis, and I understood that man is not conceived materially but created by Spirit, perfect God. We had a ten-year-old child, and had always wanted another child.

Over sixteen years ago I underwent medical treatment for an illness, which was followed by a long period of suffering. I was given narcotics, which did little to lessen the pain, and I feared addiction.

My gratitude for Christian Science knows no bounds. Were it not for this beautiful religion, my life would have been far different.
