Dear Members and Friends,
It was a Monday of joy and gratitude as our worldwide church family joined together, live, online, to attend the 2021 Annual Meeting on June 7, at 1 p.m., with the theme, “Grace to go forward.” The new President of The Mother Church, Mimi Oka, CSB, was introduced and facilitated the meeting with its broad spectrum of reports. Also, during a discussion, the Christian Science Board of Directors spoke of the value of holding in-person church services once again, and the love this shows for our communities. We’re grateful that many had the opportunity to watch Annual Meeting in their native languages, as live, simultaneous interpretation was offered.
