Dear Members of The Mother Church,
We are looking forward to being together both in person and online for this year’s Annual Meeting on Monday, June 6, at 1:00 p.m. EDT. In addition to Annual Meeting itself, a Saturday hymn sing, and a Sunday afternoon metaphysical meeting, we hope you’ll also visit the new How Do You See the World? experience on the first floor of the Publishing House. The Christian Science Board of Directors recorded a video message to you about this new experience. Watch the video here
Although a few renovations to the Extension of The Mother Church are still ongoing––both within the building and on the exterior––there will be easy access to the building and ample seating for all! It will be a joy to be together and to share the meeting with those joining online.
As a reminder our theme this year is:
One infinite God, good, unifies men and nations; constitutes the brotherhood of man; ends wars; fulfils the Scripture, “Love thy neighbor as thyself;” annihilates pagan and Christian idolatry,—whatever is wrong in social, civil, criminal, political, and religious codes; equalizes the sexes; annuls the curse on man, and leaves nothing that can sin, suffer, be punished or destroyed.
Mary Baker Eddy, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 340, emphasis added
After two years of being able to meet only online, what a delight it will be to see as many of your smiling faces as possible in Boston this year.
Loving regards,
Laurie Q. Richardson
