Are you praying about growth in your branch church or society?
That's a topic that many in our movement are addressing today. In fact, the theme of this year’s Annual Meeting is “Small Seeds … Vital Growth.” And growth is also the theme of this new Annual Meeting and Church Alive video with four brief “vital growth” experiences from churches in Ohio, USA; Berlin, Germany; Nottingham, UK; and Connecticut, USA. The whole video is less than 20 minutes long, and we hope you'll find time to view it—either by yourself, or with friends or fellow church members.
Christ Jesus taught that a tiny mustard seed—“the least of all seeds”—would grow into a tree, where birds would lodge (see Matthew 13:31, 32). As you’ll see in the above stories, even cherishing the smallest kernel of a new idea can blossom and grow into a significant blessing not only for a branch church but also for its wider community.
If you would like to share brief stories of growth in your branch, we would love to read them! We might even publish a few of them on the website in Church Alive. Just reply to this e-mail: e-mail Clerk@christianscience.com, or submit your experience on Church Alive.
Warmly,
Nathan Talbot
Clerk of The Mother Church
P.S. Annual Meeting will be online only, June 3, at 1:00 p.m. Boston time. It should last around 90 minutes. For more information visit http://christianscience.com/member-resources/annual-meeting.
