CHRISTIAN SCIENCE is making a great stand today for the truth of being. It is affirming this truth, this spiritual truth, sometimes in the face of persistent opposition, thereby often drawing upon itself the ridicule and censure of spiritually unenlightened human thought.
THE fact that Christian Science churches are not dedicated until they are free from debt has a deep and important significance for both the church organizations and individual Christian Scientists. " Then, after describing his son's malady, the man stated that he had besought the disciples to heal him, but they had failed.
Mrs. Eddy makes plain and practical the meaning of Jesus' pronouncement, "I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
If men were assured of the indestructibility of life what a load would be lifted from them! For it is certain that fear of death is responsible for a great deal of the misery of human existence, just as it is certain that fear of death prevents the healing of disease. Lift the dread of this enemy from the thought of one who believes that he is about to pass away, and hope and faith will be revived within his consciousness; and with their coming again there will be a renewal of health and strength.
