ABOUT FOUR YEARS AGO , I had a remarkable experience, a healing, that I would like to report. In the middle of the night I was seized with a great pain.
DURING THE SUMMER OF 2006, I visited a friend who was on a work assignment in Hungary and is a dedicated Christian Scientist. One weekend afternoon we went swimming in an outdoor pool complex, and my friend decided to go down a very steep slide that had a big warning sign next to it saying that you were taking this slide at your own risk.
OVER 30 YEARS AGO, I was having a lovely dinner at the home of my friends while their three Siamese cats roamed the apartment, and as usual, I was bursting out in allergic reactions. For several months, I had experienced allergic symptoms to cats.
I HAVE HAD SO MUCH help from reading the testimonies in the periodicals, that at last I submit my own testimony. Over 45 years ago, my third child, Brenda, was severely burned on the face, hands, and legs in a fire when she was four years old.

AS A CHILD, I ATTENDED a Christian Science Sunday School. However, I was frequently ill growing up and my parents called on medical doctors for help when I wasn't well.
ABOUT 20 YEARS AGO, when I was taking some college courses, I noticed a bump on the pinky finger of my writing hand. At first, I thought it was a blister caused by doing so much writing, so I tried to pop it.
FROM THE TIME my first son was born, I had what is commonly called hay fever. For 22 years I suffered with this condition every late summer and fall.
WHILE MY FIFTH-GRADE students were listening intently as my teaching partner read to them, I was overtaken by an extreme pain in my lower abdomen. Initially, I tried to fight it off with a silent prayer and sheer determination.
