Testimonies of Healing

Christian Science has proved such a blessing to me that I am writing this testimony in the hope that it may help and encourage some one who is seeking the truth. When the Christian Science text-book.

I would like to express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me. For four or five years I was troubled with a stomach disorder which was getting worse every day, no matter what I ate.

Over eleven years ago I was healed-by Christian Science, in one treatment, of a very bad skin disease. My face had a dreadful appearance, but in the morning after the treatment it was as that of a little child.

For many years I had suffered from a stomach ailment, which returned at regular intervals, and in 1908 it was more severe than ever before. I could retain no food whatever, and suffered terribly day and night; but I was to experience that "man's extremity is God's opportunity.

That the application of Christian Science heals all manner of diseases is a fact to which many people are daily testifying. The writer considers it a privilege to tell of one of the many instances in which this Science has been a help to him, and hopes that the following brief account may be the means of leading others to learn the value of the truth as explained in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs.

To show our gratitude for what Christian Science has done for us, and possibly to benefit some one who is wandering in the shadows of despair and who needs the "great Physician," we send this testimony in proof of God's care of those who trust Him aright. Some seven years ago, our little boy, then three months old, was ruptured.

About three years ago I was a very sick man. I was so exhausted that I could hardly venture away from home.

I had a very bad attack of rheumatism in the summer of 1908 and was unable to move without severe pain. A Christian Science practitioner was called over the telephone about the middle of the forenoon, and she began to give me absent treatment.

On first coming into Christian Science, I used to hunt eagerly through the testimonies for cases like my own, and it is with the hope that this account may help all sufferers from so-called organic heart disease, that I give my experience. A little over two years ago it seemed that I had come nearly to the end of hope.

It is over six years since I became interested in Christian Science, and it is impossible for me to tell of all the benefits received since I came into this understanding of Truth. I had never heard of Christian Science until a dear friend asked why I did not try it.
