Testimonies of Healing

Healing came as the author learned to live each day in line with the Sermon on the Mount.

During my first month in law school, I woke up one morning to find a terrible rash covering my body. It was very difficult to perform even the most basic daily functions, including walking around.

When our son was about three years old, he had a very high fever and was so miserable that he was crying constantly. My husband was taking care of our baby daughter and also praying for our son while I stayed in the room with the little boy.

Last summer , I traveled to Milan, Italy, to spend a month doing research. Two days after I arrived, I stopped to purchase a phone card at a newspaper kiosk.

During a riding lesson , my horse encountered a muddy patch of ground, stumbled, and fell. He went down so fast that I had no chance to do anything to save myself.

As A Child I had many fears that later became phobias. As I entered adulthood, I found that I was terrified of flying.

Some Time Ago one of my colleagues gossiped a lot about me. I became very angry because the stories he told about me were not true at all.

During my final year of university, a boil developed at the top of my leg. At first I didn't know what it was, and my prodding increased the swelling and inflammation.

My contact lenses had become a nuisance. I was spending a lot of time in the water at an outdoor summer camp I was attending on Lake Michigan.

I was scheduled to serve lunch at my younger son's school. This is a monthly activity in which parents volunteer to help serve the three-, four-, and five-year-olds.
