Testimonies of Healing

I am very grateful for Christian Science. One night when my younger daughter was a toddler, she had trouble breathing.

I would like to express gratitude for a healing that has been very significant to me because of the sweetness and grace with which it came. During college, I began to drink coffee.

I met her at a party. She was the wife of one of my husband's business associates.

About thirteen years ago I was clearing snow from my driveway, and in lifting the heavy machine to clear it of a blockage I felt something in my back "give out. " Although I continued to have an active day, the pain increased to where it was difficult to walk, to sit, or to move in any way.

It is with gratitude and love that I testify to the beauty in my life, which has been centred in Christian Science. During the years of World War II, I brought up my three children in the hills of Derbyshire.

How GRATEFUL I am for each copy of the monthly Journal and for the weekly issues of the Christian Science Sentinel. They are always filled with helpful spiritual ideas.

My husband and I met while working in the same business. We fell in love and decided to marry.

Our son passed on almost four years ago from a serious illness after months of medical treatment that included two operations. One night, a short time after his passing, I was alone and thinking about him and what he had gone through.

Many Years Ago , when our children were about 10 and 12, I built a platform for them to jump off while holding on to a rope swing. To test the rope's strength, I climbed the platform, sat on the swing seat, and jumped off.

Some time ago I had a severe fall. I was helped up from the floor, but was unable to walk.
