Testimonies of Healing
A few years after graduating from high school, I found life to be empty of promise. I was alone working on the road as a musician, and I had also been pursuing an unchristian path in life that presented no answers to all the questions that were tugging at my sleeves.
I would like to express gratitude for my yearly Christian Science Students Association meeting. Assignments my association sends out for study some months before the meeting are always inspiring.

More than fifty years ago my husband was asked by a Christian Science practitioner to think of his creditors not as enemies but as friends who would wish to help him. My husband adopted this viewpoint, and the change in his thinking saved his building business from bankruptcy.
When I was a youngster I was healed of a broken ankle through Christian Science within minutes—so diagnosed by a park service nurse. My dad submitted a testimony describing this healing to our periodicals at that time.
What glorious opportunities we have as parents to prove God's protecting, healing power. Even though I attended a Christian Science Sunday School from an early age and was active in a Christian Science organization at college, I never fully appreciated what a precious gift my mother had given me through her acceptance of this religion until I became a mother myself.
How much inspiration and encouragement I have received over the years from testimonies given in branch Churches of Christ, Scientist, and from healings published in the Christian Science periodicals! I am glad to join in this song of praise to God. After returning to Switzerland about twenty-five years ago, I was unexpectedly confronted with a decision in a personal matter.
