Testimonies of Healing
A line in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy was a great help to me in my career some years ago when I was a fledgling businesswoman. It turned what seemed like a nightmare into an important spiritual lesson in trusting God to guide and govern my life.
One day in the spring of 2017, I felt a sharp pain in my body. After two days of dealing with the discomfort on my own, I knew something needed to change.

I was a doubting Thomas. To me, Christian Science was this “weird religion” I could never accept.

Understanding that we are inseparable from God is a trustworthy remedy when we need immediate help. The Bible is full of accounts and prayers that teach us of God’s constant presence, and of His dauntless love and power to overcome evil with good—as we read in Psalm 139: “Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.
Whenever I have challenges, I pray to God and listen for what He is telling me about His creation, and I have experienced many healings through my study of Christian Science over the years. However, at one time I lacked energy and felt extremely tired all the time.
God has only one purpose for each one of us: to reflect Him through our individual expression. We are God’s ideas, and we dwell eternally in the one infinite Mind, safe from anything that might divert us from the sacred path that He shows us lovingly and wisely.
It is wonderful to know that through Christian Science we learn that God not only comforts but also heals sorrow and grief. I was very close to my father, and I could not imagine life without him.
