Christian Science came into my life six years ago, and meeting the heart's great need, has awakened so much gratitude and love that they must be expressed for the benefit of others.
I took class instruction of one of Mrs. Eddy's students, a privilege which is growing clearer to me each day, as I apply the good word spoken there, in confidence and love. Unhappiness, and other discordant conditions have been overcome in my own consciousness with the sunlight of Truth, as revealed to us by our divinely inspired Leader through Science and Health and her other writings. Sorrow, anxiety for loved ones, sin, sickness, and fear of death are fast passing away. A tumor has been dissolved with the "solvent of Love" (Science and Health, p. 242), though the doctors had said while I was under their care in the hospital, that it could not be reached to be operated upon. Through the daily study of the Bible and our text-book, I am able to do my housework and attend to business outside as well.
Self-will, sensitiveness, perverseness, and stubbornness, as well as a fear that others would not do as I thought they should, instead of leaving them to God, are disappearing.
